Fantastic service from the first call to the point I picked up my keys again. The guys were open, honest, and gave me a very fair price! I would not recommend going to any other shop in the area where they will try to sell you unnecessary things and overcharge you! I will be using them as my mechanic from here forward.
Added 5 mo later: still so satisfied with Aamco's services. Keith is AMAZING specifically, but after a moment with Brett, I can tell all of them are quality mechanics/people. My boyfriend and I had maintenance needed on both of our cars at the same time, and the whole team there was reliable and accommodating with their diagnostics and fixes.

Broke a half shaft on my 2006 Honda Element and they had it fixed the same day. The price was about what I would have expected. One of the owners/managers said to me "we are a bunch of old guys here" and that is exactly who I want working on my car (for the record they aren't that old)...Five stars.

Wish I could select more than FIVE stars! It is hard to find a place you feel comfortable to take your care in for repair, especially being a female. Brett and Keith are amazing. They take the time to explain in details. The shop staff does excellent work and they are honest people doing the right repair. I recommend them AAMCO to anyone i know looking to have their car repaired. I have had them do engine work, brakes and replace the computer brain on my vehicle. Al of which have been done perfectly without any issues. THE BEST AROUND!

From the moment I called to the moment I left AAMCO everything was great. Keith was very helpful and very honest. He gave me his truly honest evaluation and really worked with me and explained everything so I would understand the service and such. It is very difficult to find a mechanic who is reliable, trustworthy, and pleasant. This AAMCO fits these characteristics and will definitely be returning here for all future needs!

Hands down, the best mechanics in all of the Ann Arbor-Ypsi area! Had a transmission leak and it was promptly fixed (1 day), even though they were a couple guys short-handed. I also really appreciated them updating me throughout the process and explaining everything. I'm not a car guy and for someone to explain to me the function of each part and the condition it was currently in was extremely helpful. This shop is run by very honest and trustworthy professionals, who truly care about the customer. I would totally recommend this AAMCO shop to anyone! Simply put, best car care shop I've ever dealt with.
